Terms of Use

Last updated: October 30, 2026

These terms apply to your use of RoadReturn (roadreturn.com). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

RoadReturn is an independent guide run by Samuel Smajek, Founder and Editor. You can reach us at contact@roadreturn.com.

General information only

RoadReturn explains SR-22 and FR-44 requirements, license suspensions and reinstatement, state by state. Everything on the site is general information. It is not legal advice, insurance advice or advice about your specific situation.

Your case depends on facts we do not know: your driving record, your court order, the date of your offense, and how your state agency applies the rules to you. Before you act, confirm the details with the agency that handles your case (your state DMV, BMV, DPS or equivalent), the court, your insurer, or a licensed attorney.

No attorney-client or agent relationship

We are not a law firm and not an insurance agent or broker. Reading the site, or emailing us, does not create an attorney-client relationship or any other professional relationship. We cannot review individual cases. We do not sell insurance, collect quotes or refer you to providers.

Accuracy and changing rules

We build each state page from the state’s statutes and its official agency, and we show the date we last checked them. We work to keep pages correct and current. Even so:

  • laws, fees and procedures change, sometimes without much notice;
  • agencies may apply rules differently in practice;
  • we can make mistakes.

So we cannot guarantee that every page is complete, accurate or up to date at the moment you read it. If you find an error, please tell us (see our Editorial Policy).

Links to other websites

We link to government agencies, statutes, courts and other sources so you can check them yourself. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse the site or its owner.

Advertising

The site shows ads served by Google. We do not choose individual ads, and an ad does not mean we recommend the product or company. See our Disclaimer.

Intellectual property

The text, tables, charts, design and logo on RoadReturn are our original work, unless stated otherwise, and are protected by copyright. Laws, regulations and official government data are public; you are free to use them from their original sources.

You may:

  • read and print pages for your own personal use;
  • quote short extracts with a clear credit and a link to the page.

You may not copy, republish or sell substantial parts of the site, or scrape it in bulk, without our written permission.

Acceptable use

Please do not try to disrupt the site, access parts of it that are not public, or use it for anything unlawful.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided free of charge and “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that results from relying on information on the site, from errors or omissions, or from the site being unavailable. This includes, for example, missed deadlines, fines, fees, or lapses in coverage or driving privileges.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or, where applicable, for gross negligence or intentional misconduct. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights that the law of your place of residence gives you.

Changes to the site and these terms

We may update, add or remove content at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
